What does it mean to be an "Algierian"? To be an Algierian is to be a part of the heartbeat of the West Bank. Whether you were born in the historic 70114, 70131, currently live in Algiers, or simply carry the resilient spirit of our community in your heart, you are an Algierian. We represent the pride of the only New Orleans community on the West Bank of the Mississippi.
Why the name "Algierian" and how does it relate to "Algerian" culture? Algierian is the name we proudly give to people from Algiers, a historic and culturally rich neighborhood on the West Bank of New Orleans. The name is intentional, it honors where we’re from and the pride we carry in our community.
While Algierian and Algerian look and sound similar, they are not the same. Algierian is rooted in New Orleans identity, not nationality. That said, the similarity sparks meaningful conversation and we welcome that.
The connection is one of shared values, not direct lineage. Algerian culture is known for resilience, creativity, tradition, and deep community bonds. Those same qualities live in Algiers, New Orleans through our music, our families, our celebrations, and our ability to create beauty and strength no matter the circumstances.
So when we say Algierian, we’re saying:

- Rich in culture

Algierian is about identity, pride, and love for where you’re from, rooted in community, inspired by love.
How does my purchase help the Algiers community? We believe in "Investing our time, energy, and efforts." A portion of all proceeds from every sweatshirt, hoodie, and tee is donated to select organizations within the Algiers community. When you buy from us, you are directly funding the growth and sustainability of our neighborhoods.

How long until I can rep my Algierian gear? We know you're excited to show your Algiers pride!
○ Processing: 1–3 business days.
○ Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days (perfect for a stroll through Algiers Point).
○ Express Shipping: 1–3 business days (for when you need that Mardi Gras fit ASAP).
Can I track my order? Like a true fashion ninja, your package is always on the move. Once shipped, we’ll email you a tracking number. You can follow your gear’s journey from our hands to your doorstep.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy? We want you to love your fit! We offer a 15-day return policy. Items must be unworn, have the original tags, and be in their original packaging.
How do I handle an exchange? The fastest way to get your new item is to return the original and make a separate purchase for the new size or style. It’s "easy peasy, lemon squeezy!"
PRODUCT CARE & QUALITY
How do I keep my hoodies and sweatshirts looking fresh? To maintain the high-quality feel of our products:
○ Wash in cold water to prevent shrinkage.
○ Skip the fabric softeners to keep that premium absorbency.
○ Air dry flat to keep the shape sharp.
○ Iron inside out on low heat—never iron directly on the graphic!
What about my T-shirts and Crop Tops?
○ T-Shirts: Machine wash cold with like colors and remove promptly from the dryer.
○ Crop Tops: We recommend hand-washing and laying them flat to dry to prevent stretching. Always turn graphic tees inside out before washing to protect the print.
